Meet Lulu, a passionate artist, traveler, and musician who's faced a devastating health crisis. In early April, Lulu suffered an ischemic stroke that left him nearly paralyzed on his left side. Despite his fighting spirit, the road to recovery has been a long and difficult one.
Lulu spent weeks in the hospital battling not only the after-effects of the stroke but also bronchopneumonia and other complications. He then moved to a rehabilitation center, where he worked tirelessly on daily exercises to regain some mobility. However, progress has been painfully slow due to his weakened condition.
Now back at home, Lulu is cherishing the simple pleasures of family, music, and quiet moments. His presence brings joy to his loved ones, but the care he requires is a constant challenge. His family - his wife, daughter, and two granddaughters - do their best to assist him, but the physical demands of his care take a toll.
