A casual kickoff event to introduce Yamhill Conservation Trust to our community.

Join Yamhill Conservation Trust for a casual kick-off event to celebrate this new non-profit! You may not have heard of Yamhill Conservation Trust (YCT) before, but this organization was born from the 25-year legacy of land protection work by Yamhill Soil & Water Conservation District. YCT's mission is to protect ecologically significant lands and implement sustainable stewardship practices while fostering active community engagement.

You will be a big part of our future success! Hear more from YCT's Exective Director, Amie Loop-Frison, about YCT's plans for the next few years and share what you think we should focus on in both rural and urban lands. We will be announcing our inaugural Nature Walk and Talk summer series, where you will have a chance to tour properties managed exclusively for habitat and not normally open to the public. You won't want to miss these hikes!

We will gather at the beautiful Winter's Hill Estate Vineyard for beverages and light hors d'oeuvres. The vineyard is a prime example of landowners implementing conservation-minded land practices, including restoration with native plants which we'll have a chance to see during the event.
