Get ready to show The Town some love as HellaFunny takes over one of the Oakland's newest bars, Fluid 510 for a special series of pop-up comedy shows supporting artists of color!
Not only will you see a killer comedy show with some of the Bay's top comics (stand-ups you've seen at SF Sketchfest, Cobb's, Punchline and more) but you'll get to experience Fluid 510 - a great new bar just two blocks from BART, with tons of seating, curated art collection, a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. For one month only, we've turned it into a pop-up comedy club. We can't wait to share it with you!
It's a 70+ minute show with 4-5 comics on the bill with credits like Cobbs, Punchline, SF Sketchfest, ABC and NBC.

It wouldn't be Funcheap without a great happy hour during the show. From 4-7pm enjoy $6 classic cosmos, whiskey sours and Noble Vines chardonnarys and cabernets.
There's also a happy hour on bites including $10 Focaccia Pizzas, $4 for marinated olives, $7 for truffle fries, and $11 artisanal cheese board and many other options including vegan. Or go baller with a flat iron steak frites, or baked eggplant moussaka.

FLUID510 is fast becoming THE event destination of the East Bay with multiple write ups & television features. With a Grand Opening featuring Dance Legend Crystal Waters, FLUID510 shows 100% Pure Love for the Town with a variety of events, an exceptional food program including Saturday & Sunday brunch & a state of the art sound & lighting system - including two projectors, QSC Pro Audio speakers and ADJ Jolt 300 for laser eye candy - to be shared with comics from the Bay & all across America.
This nearly 5,000 sq foot performance venue has a rotating art collection focused on local artists of color including art pieces from local artist Derrick Bell.
The space is called FLUID, in part because of the ever changing nature of the space from brunch destination to comedy shows to nightclubs to cabarets this venue hosts it all.
