HELD: Tending
An Evening of Sound & Rest for Black Women and Caregivers
Tending: An Evening of Sound & Rest for Black Women and Caregivers is an intimate evening of intentional rest, reflection, and gentle restoration held within HELD: Black Women and The Womb exhibition.
As mothers, caregivers, leaders, healers, and space holders, it can feel like there is always something-or someone- calling for our care. We tend to homes, families, communities, work, and dreams, while our own needs often move to the bottom of the list.
Tending is an invitation to pause.
To soften.
To be held.
Join us for a restorative evening designed to support deep rest, quiet reflection, and reconnection with yourself through guided movement, Yoga Nidra rest practice, sound healing, and spaciousness
There is nothing to do. No performance. No pressure.
Bring your body. And rest.
Throughout the evening, guests are invited to settle into a personal rest space, explore the exhibition, connect gently with community, journal, breathe, receive sound, and simply be.
