Since 1965, the Heidi Play has remained a cherished tradition in New Glarus, embodying warmth, charm, and resilience. Organized by the Heidi Folk Organization, this event not only celebrates the timeless tale of Heidi and the Swiss Alps but also offers collegiate scholarships for participants, preserving this honored tradition for generations to come.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
We welcome all ages to attend.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Join us at the New Glarus Fest Haus, located just north of the downtown park in New Glarus. Though Polkafest and Beer Bacon and Cheese Festival are happening, parking is available outside blocked streets. We recommend arriving early to secure your spot!
