Join us for a program teaching how frontier settlers prepared their homes, harvests, and land for the winter season. 

Historic Travellers Rest welcomes you to our Hearth and Harvest Virtual program. Join us for a virtual tour of parts of the historic home and property as you learn about the processes for preparing for winter on the frontier from candle making, to preserving foods, to winterizing the home itself. Director of Interpretation Chad Burgess will lead this program will include a presentation from Wolf Gap Education Outreach, Inc as well. After the presentation, there will be time for Q&amp;A . This is a pay what you choose program. We recommend a donation of $15 to support our ongoing operational and educational expenses. The program will be live at 4pm CST and the recording will be shared with those that register if you can&#x27;t attend live. We also encourage all attendees to order a beverage box from B&amp;B Beverage Management to enjoy during the program. $1 from each box purchased will be donated to Traveller Rest.
