Our open mic event is the perfect platform for aspiring artists and performers to showcase their talent and connect with a vibrant community of creatives.Hosted by LA Poet Society, Heartbeats Open Mic, is held on the last Saturday of each month, showcasing literary talent of all levels; from emerging Writers to published Writers, and welcoming all genres of creative expression!We are excited to be featuring:Poet, Educator, and Publisher, Teresa Mei Chuc CongaPoet - a fuse of conga drumming along with fierce activism poeticsAngel Miguel Lopez - a Playwright, Poet, Actor, and EmceeMauricio Moreno aka Soul on Fire, Columbian American Poet, and author of Anatomy of a Flame+Open Mic 4 the People! 4 minutes/ person, or as time permits.RSVP to secure your admission through Event Brite.
