About this event

Join us on May 30th for the 7s Art Sutra Copying Salon, and embark on a peaceful meditation practice with us!
As one of the most important scriptures in Mahayana Buddhism, the Heart Sutra offers profound insights into the nature of reality and the essence of wisdom, inspiring reflection and awakening in those who study it. In this salon that blends Buddhist wisdom with the art of calligraphy, guests will not only learn basic brush techniques but also use these skills to copy the Heart Sutra, embarking on a healing journey that merges the beauty of Chinese calligraphy with Buddhist teachings.
At the 7s Art Studio, we will create a fully immersive sutra copying experience that harmonizes all five senses—sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch—through a combination of space design, sound, incense, tea ceremony, and calligraphy, allowing you to explore its deeper meanings.
The salon will also include time for discussion and exchange, giving you the chance to connect with like-minded individuals. We will provide all materials, including brushes, ink, and paper. At the end of the event, guests will be able to take home their own handwritten sutra!
