- Rocket Ship is an alt pop outfit from Boston Massachusetts. The band’s EP “A Night at the Pool” (2020) began introducing influences of alt pop into the familiar rock sound of the members’ upbringing. Lyrically, the band expands on themes of interpersonal relationships, sentimental idealism, and existential fears. The soaring vocals, tight rhythm grooves, and sparkling guitars were well received by longtime fans and new listeners alike, cementing singles like “We’re Alright” in their playlists.
