Hear/Say
Overview

An Exhibition presented by University of Colorado - Anschutz Medical Center: Hear/Say

From the Exhibition Coordinator / Curator:

Through shared narratives and diverse viewpoints, we invite you to join us as Hear/Say dismantles stereotypes, fosters empathy, and amplifies voices that have long been marginalized. Our focus on high concentration cannabis use traverses various contexts – from medical treatment to recreational indulgence – prompting reflection on the delicate balance between anecdotal testimony, empirical research, and the particular harms that can occur for youth, pregnant and parenting people. Join us as we navigate the contours of this controversy, harnessing the power of art to shed light on the unspoken truths.

In the pursuit of public health, we are called upon to navigate the complexities of evidence, policy, and societal values. Through dialogue, collaboration, and artistry, this exhibition becomes not only a platform for empowerment but also a catalyst for change. Join us as we confront controversy, challenge norms, and elevate the voices of those whose stories deserve to be heard.

Come experience this exhibit and enjoy two floors of open studios + galleries this First Friday from 5-8 pm, and all month during normal business hours.
