About this event

Every day, countless teens and adults within our community grapple with mental health crises, feeling lost and without a lifeline. Join us for a two-part presentation focused on crisis management: We’ll talk about Trauma and Resiliency Informed Care, or how Health Care Systems are actively recognizing and tailoring their approaches to better support patients facing crisis situations. Additionally, we’ll discuss the Crisis Text Line, a free resource for those navigating crises. Led by speakers Dr. Stacy Leatherwood and Anna Falkowski,M.A. A light luncheon will be served.

Anna Falkowski is a public health professional with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and is a crisis counselor at the Crisis Text Line. Dr. Stacy Leatherwood specializes in Pediatrics with Henry Ford Health and is the Physician Champion for Childhood Wellness with Henry Ford LiveWell.
