Healthy Harvest is a blend of in-person* and self-paced learning AND interactive adventures that will transform your kitchen, your community, and maybe even your life!

Course Overview

This local food health and wellness course will equip you with the basics of nutrition, letting you choose vibrant Florida fruits and veggies, wholesome grains, and delicious proteins for balanced meals. We'll explore the principles of the Mediterranean diet for inspiration, but ultimately focus on building your own healthy eating style, complete with menu planning and basic cooking skills. Get ready to discover the joy of local flavors, empower your kitchen confidence, and fuel your well-being with the bounty of Florida!

You will receive a small produce bag at the in-person sessions. The in-person sessions will take place at the Wind Mitigation Building - UF/IFAS Extension St. Johns County. March 25 | April 8 | April 22 | May 6 | May 20 | June 3.*

The self-paced, interactive learning includes bi-weekly modules, giving you 2 weeks to explore evrything from Florida's farm-fresh bounty to the secrets of healthy eating.

What technology do you need? You will need online capabilities to access the self-paced modules that unlock the culinary secrets to nourish your body from field to fork!
