Join us for this allergy-friendly, delicious, and fun class highlighting recipes from PNWU culinary medicine program.

Welcome to Healthy Eats Highlights Cooking class. This menu has been designed by Kat, a participant of the Culinary Medicine Program and volunteer. This menu hightlights some of her favorite recipes from PNWU culinary medicine classes.

This is a hands-on cooking class where participants will be in small groups preparing one of the recipes to share with the group. You will enjoy a full meal of some of Kat's favorite recipes and receive the recipe handout to enjoy later at home. Limited to 22 spots.

Butter Mochi (does have butter)

Elaina Moon is an ACE Certified Health Coach, CDC Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach, and holds a BS in Nutrition and Non-Profit Management from CWU. She is the owner of Healthy Eats and has been teaching cooking classes in Yakima since 2015. She has a passion for helping individuals live a healthy life through nutrition education and health coaching. She teaches two healthy lifestyle classes for Memorial Hosptial: ACT! Kids Healthy Lifestyle Program and Diabetes Prevention Program. In addition, she volunteers her time to nutrition-related non-profits including Meals On Wheels.
