About this event

  • Event lasts 9 hours

I discovered a way for people experiencing chronic stress to be happier, make more money, obtain work-life balance, improve health, and have more time without worry by implementing seven fun wellness practices that prevent burnout.

The program is 25 hours, split into 15 sessions over three months. The first (9 hours) and last (3 hours) meetings will be in person, and thirteen weekly virtual one-hour FUNsessions. The program consists of daily, weekly, and monthly activities that cumulate to a lifestyle shift (365 Sustainability Plan).

Next cohort: 4/26/25 – 7/26/25

Session #1: 1/25 (In-person – 9 hours - lunch included)

Session #2 - Session # 14: Sundays at 6:30 – 7:30 pm (Virtual).

Session #15: 7/26 (In-person – 3 hours)

Chronic stress prevents success. Because everyone perceives stress differently, we must receive stress education, learn new habits and actions, and practice stress management and wellness. The summit includes the workshop, a workbook, two events with meals provided, and a Community of Practice.

The biggest cause of chronic illness is stress, and the most significant cause of stress is work. It is estimated that 90% of all visits to healthcare providers are stress-related. Six in ten adults in the U.S. have chronic diseases such as asthma, heart disease, obesity, cancer, or diabetes, and four in ten adults have two or more. In addition, the 52.9 million adults in the United States age 18 and older are affected by mental illnesses like anxiety disorders and depression. Many diseases and illnesses can be prevented by managing stress and practicing wellness.

Do you want to feel more happiness?

Do you want to have more free time to relax?

Do you want to go on vacation and not think about work?

Do you want to be worry-free?

Do you want to make more money?

Do you want to improve your health?

Do you want to sleep better?

Do you want better relationships?

Do you want to improve physical body pains?

Do you want to improve your memory and focus?

Do you want to experience less fear, panic, or anxiety?

Do you want to experience less shame?

Many actions do not counter stress and reduce cortisol (the stress hormone). Are you ignoring, denying, avoiding, blaming, withdrawing, distracting, disengaging, numbing, or escaping stressors? Are you self-medicating by shopping, stress or binge eating, gambling, gaming, abusing substances (alcohol and drugs), smoking, vaping, carnality, self-sabotaging, self-harming, and overusing television, social media, sports, and exercise?

Do you want to feel more empowered?

STRESS is the ENEMY!

We all have goals and dreams that we work hard to achieve. We are busybodies who rarely sleep, eat poorly, and grind beyond human capacity. But no one benefits—not our family and friends, not our employers, not our community, and especially not our well-being. Although there is no way to avoid the omnipresence of stress, it can be managed.

Join our community to use a combination of scientifically proven, active, and collaborative practices. These practices offer immediate results that are sustainable through daily application.

Organized by

We are creating a Community of Practice (CoP) in Wake County. A CoP is a safe area where members may share their knowledge and get support, motivation, and inspiration.

Our mission is to achieve personal mastery through self-reflection, personal healing, education, and lifestyle changes that foster integrity and accountability.

We are a counterculture of wellness for the culture of stress! We are going to play the stress away!

Are you managing your stress effectively?

Stress is not an isolated physical emotion, feeling, or symptom; it interferes with our ability to succeed. If we want to feel happier, make more money, achieve work-life balance, improve health and relations, and have more time, we must receive stress education, learn new habits and actions, and practice stress management and wellness with a CoP.
