Welcome to the Healing Through Self Expression: Opening Art Show & Networking Mixer event!

Join us on Wed, May 14, 2025 from 5:00 - 9:00PM at Ritual Coffee Roasters Valencia for an evening of artistic expression and community connection.

Come mingle with like-minded individuals, network with local artists, and immerse yourself in a supportive and creative atmosphere. Let's come together to heal through self-expression and uplift each other.

This event is free and open to the community.

What to Expect:

  • Art Show: An interactive installation, called "Healing Through Self Expression," co-created by BIPOC visual artists. The full installation will remain open to the public from May 13 – June 16, so if you can’t make it opening night, there’s still time to experience the magic.
  • Intentional Networking This is where creativity meets community. Tap in with visionaries working across digital media, wellness, entrepreneurship, and culture. Whether you’re looking to collaborate, expand your circle, or just vibe—you’ll find your people here.
  • Space for Community + Resource Sharing: We’re holding room for real talk. What does thriving look like as a creative of color in 2025? What does creative freedom feel like? Come share knowledge, stories, and offerings as we move toward collective growth.
  • Complimentary Food + Drinks: Free food, beer & wine during the entire event. From 5–7PM, coffee will be available for purchase at the Ritual counter to fuel your flow. From 7–9PM, enjoy complimentary coffee from Ritual as we wind down and warm up the space with community and conversation.

We can't wait to see you there!

Trayvon "Tray" Smith (he/him) is a San Francisco native with a deep passion for fashion, art, photography, and community building. A strong advocate for Black and queer visibility, he believes in using his talents to uplift others, ensuring their stories are told and their voices are heard.

Realest Exposure began as a platform to showcase Tray's photography but quickly evolved when he recognized a greater need within his community. Beyond photography, there was a demand for creative services that truly supported queer BIPOC artists and businesses. In response, Tray expanded Realest Exposure to offer creative consulting and brand management, filling a gap in quality services while continuing to explore his own artistic vision.

Dedicated to curating, creating, and contributing to safe spaces, Tray remains committed to fostering environments where BIPOC and queer individuals can thrive authentically. His work is driven by a mission to ensure that everyone has a seat at the table.
