We would prefer that you stay for the entire shift to maximize the amount of work we accomplish. However, we understand if you need to leave early – just let us know when you arrive.

Volunteer shifts are intended to offer learning opportunities to individuals, families, and small groups of friends - not serve as private group outings. If you are interested in registering a group of 10 or more, please email us.

Volunteer Shift Guidelines:

Arrive10 minutes ahead if possible Introductions and instructions will be provided by our Lead Land Stewarts.

Bring your own gardening gloves if you feel more comfotable; they are highly recommended for your safety.

Bring water, snacks and/or lunch, sun protection, and wear close-toed shoes and clothes you feel comfortable moving in and can get dirty.

You may sign up for no more than one shift at a time to allow access to all who want to help. STEAM URBAN reserves the right to cancel shifts if there's overbooking. Feel free to sign up for another as soon as you finish one.
