Hazardous Materials Awareness (HazMat Awareness)

Hazardous Materials Awareness is a required course for all West Virginia EMS providers. It is mandatory annually.

The class will review the use of an Emergency Response Guidebook, recognition of a Hazardous Materials release, and what steps to take to begin mitigation of the incident.

This course is free for Jefferson County, WV EMS providers.

Out of county EMS providers may still take the course, however a fee for the course may apply. Please call Lieutenant Craig Horn at 304-728-3287 for additional information.

Class is limited to 30 students.

To take this course you MUST register on Eventbrite by September 1, 2018 at 11:59 pm.
