Join UDC-CAUSES Center for Urban Resilience, Innovation, and Infrastructure (CURII) at Firebird Research Farm to learn about the current agricultural research projects growing onsite this season.
What You'll Experience:
- Discuss previous research findings and how they led to the current field work, along with plans for further exploration in the coming years.
- Take a tour of the research plot and taste some of these crops including hibiscus, waterleaf, sweet potato leaf, and arugula.
- Harvest hibiscus leaves and calyces to take home for your own kitchen projects.
