About this event

After leaving a job, have you ever felt like you left a part of yourself behind? Or that, for some reason, your new beginning felt blocked?

Professional endings can take many forms. They can be awkward, invisible, or thoughtfully marked with a special event and reflection. And, they can have a big impact on how we start something new, or find a new job.

How they are done matters for both the person leaving, for the team or organisation they leave behind and for the new team or organisation that they join.

*****

Join us in this 3-hour workshop to explore ways that endings impact both our individual and organisational systems and learn how to harness the energy of endings for successful beginnings.

Participants in our workshops find that these events give them the time and the space needed to revisit endings, to identify patterns, and to connect with their futures.

Our approach is systemic, which means that we are working with the principle that healthy systems move towards wholeness. Systems move to resolve dissonance to bring itself back into balance. So, sometimes what feels blocked or stuck, is actually a sign from the system that something wants to be seen, acknowledged, and thus resolved.

When we leave a system, such as a workplace, consciously and with awareness we address and resolve any dissonance, which supports us as individuals in finding success in new projects and roles, and also supports the companies we leave and join.

From an organisational perspective, how we manage and support endings and beginnings can make the difference between a healthy organisational culture and one with skeletons in the closet.

Our Approach

Using systemic constellation methods and the practice of Yoga Nidra or Conscious Sleep, we will bring invisible, unconscious dynamics into conscious awareness so that they can be explored and resolved, and balance restored to the system.

You will have the opportunity to explore patterns in your life, and to revisit an ending from your professional life, and bring closure, harvesting the gifts from the experience to take into the future.

This workshop is for you if you’ve ever left a position and are looking to reclaim vitality for your personal system in relation to work. It is also suitable for consultants, leaders, and human resources professionals, overseeing beginnings and endings in their organisations.

TESTIMONIALS

"A surprising, insightful and energising session - thank you. Grainne's and Andrea's skill is in creating a gentle yet deep inquiry into the potential that tending to endings can have in our professional lives. I emerged with some new awareness and a feeling that the workshop is still having a powerful impact." Matt Fairbrass, Consultant & Coach

"Having attended this workshop, I can say with full conviction that it was an eye-opening and transformative experience. It helped me to release what was holding me back from moving forward from a challenging professional experience, reclaim its many blessings and gifts, and shed light on how I approach endings (and beginnings) in other areas of my life. The workshop wasn't just theory; it was introspective, interactive, and deeply personal. I left the workshop feeling lighter, more empowered, and with a renewed sense of purpose for my next professional venture." Azadeh M., Consultant

"The session was a great introduction to why it’s important to end well and you will also get a couple to 'tools' to help with the how." Timea Kristof, Chief Disruptor & Head of Executive Coaching, Gekko Consulting
