Sound healing works by activating the parasympathetic nervous system – the opposite of the stress flight or fight response. It slows down your breath rate, your heart rate and even your brainwaves, putting you into an almost trance-like state.
Yoga Nidra trains the body and mind for this meditative state by keeping the mind focused on different parts of the body. This soothes the nervous system and allows the body to relax and release tension. The practice also helps to quiet the mind and create a state of inner peace.
The combination of sound and yoga nidra connecting with the water element will allow your body, mind & spirit to heal in profound ways.
Join us on Saturday, June 22nd 6:30-8:30 pm. Please arrive 10-20 minutes early to allow time for setting up.
Space will be limited. Options to join in the pool on a sturdy float or bathing on the pool deck. Please bring a mat and towels or blankets if you want a space on the pool deck.
