Harm Reduction TAY
Presented by Allies for Equity
One of the great myths in wellness care is that risk can ultimately be eliminated if we have the right policies, procedures, and therapies. Those expectations can discourage us from the acknowledgement and assessment of the true risks youth face. In this offering harm reduction is presented from a trauma informed, healing centered approach. This workshop will focus on proven methods that identify risk factors while sharing tools that support harm reduction in HS-TAY populations
