Mockingbird Analytics is proud to announce that we&#x27;re partnering with <a href="https://northfigbookshop.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">North Figueroa Bookshop</a> and the <a href="https://www.thesidewalkproject.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sidewalk Project</a> to offer community training on harm reduction and Narcan certification.Harm reduction and trauma care have been in the spotlight as resources have become available for us to help our friends and neighbors in times of crisis.Opioid usage does not have to end someone’s life. We’re passionate about this event because we’ve seen the impact of opioid addiction in our own lives, and want to help equip more people with life-saving tools. Register today as spots are limited – only 20 seats are available!Read more about our trainers from The Sidewalk Project below. <ul><li>Jen Elizabeth is the Director of Street Engagement &amp; Services /Trauma Trained Care Manager with The Sidewalk Project; she specializes in childhood and sexual trauma. Spending close to two decades as an unhoused PWID, doing survival sex work, being cycled through jails, hospitals, institutions, and state prison gives her a deep knowing of what her participants are coping with every day. Much of Jen’s work is focused on BIPOC Trans Sex Workers who are PLHIV.</li></ul><ul><li>Meghan Hynes MPH, is a dedicated harm reductionist whose experience includes program management, technical assistance, evaluation, and direct services. Throughout her nearly two decades in the field, Meghan has trained hundreds of community members to recognize and respond to overdoses, instructed and certified new overdose prevention trainers, and responded to dozens of overdoses in her own community. Meghan was instrumental in designing a series of instructional videos on responding to overdoses during the pandemic and creating guidelines on covid-safe practices for organizations conducting post-overdose follow-up interventions. She has provided technical assistance to California’s Office of HIV/AIDS, The San Francisco Department of Public Health, The Massachusetts Department of Behavioral Health, and other agencies that serve people who use drugs. She is driven by a passion for reducing health disparities caused by the war on drugs. She has been providing services to people in Skid Row for close to three years with The Sidewalk Project and serves on the board of directors.</li></ul>P.S.
