1. Varsity Sports on Friday 7/27 from 11:30-5:30pm
2. Race day on Saturday 7/28 from 6-7pm

Celebrating its 9th year, the "World's Most Festive 5k" returns to downtown Baton Rouge on July 28th, 2018 @ 7pm. The Happys5000 features a fast and fun downtown route that welcomes runners, joggers, or crawlers to complete followed by live music, great food, and of course Beer...
Included in the event festivities this year is our 6th running of the Beer Mile. The mile is limited to 50 participants so get in early and be prepared to dress up. If you don't get in, be sure to line the street for the epic 15 minute race that begins at 8:30 pm.

6pm - Race Day Registration Opens
7pm - 5k Race Start
7:30pm - Finisher Food Court opens
8:30pm - Beer Mile Start
9:15pm - Awards Ceremony
6pm-10pm - Live Music on the Town Lawn Stage
