LAFORCE hosts two events for families and educators of children in early childhood--Family Connection Camp and Handy Helpers.Family Connection Campis an event wherefamiliesgrow together around child development, wellness, and community. This event focuses on providing knowledge of child development and social emotional learning. We provide resources that allow families to deepen relationships with their children at home. Family Connection Camp is for all families with children in early childhood.Handy Helpersis an event whereeducatorsin childcare and early childhood classrooms can receive 1 hour of professional development that would go towards their yearly requirement of clock hours, new learning that is aligned to CDA subject areas, and resources to use in their classroom.
