Hands-Only CPR Class

Come join us for a Hands-Only CPR Class at Palm Beach Gardens Fire Station 61! Learn life-saving skills in an engaging and interactive environment. The class is provided and taught by Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue in partnership with Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and will teach you how to perform Hands-Only CPR, making it easier for everyone to jump in and help in an emergency. Early CPR and defribilation can double or triple a person's chances of survival. Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge that could save a life!

Please enroll everyone that plans to attend.
Class is open to ages 10+, anyone under 18 MUST have adult supervision.
NO Certificate is provided.

Is there a cost to the class?

No, Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue is happy to offer these FREE classes to our community.

Will I be CPR certified after this class?

No. This class is an instructional class only with the intent of teaching basic life-saving skills in the event of cardiac arrest. The class will cover many of the same components as a certification class, but will be simplified and shorter.

What topics does the class cover?

The class will teach the basics of how to handle an emergency, including the topics; when to call 9-1-1, when to perform CPR, what an AED is and how they work, and how to help a choking victim.

Can I bring children to the class?

We ask that you not bring children under the age of 9 to the class. We know that finding someone to watch your children can be a challenge, but out of respect for the rest of the attendees please do not bring young children to the class.
