About Maker Faire:Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker Movement.  It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers.  They are of all ages and backgrounds. Make: Magazine and Maker Faire

Using a variety of easily obtainable materials, we will look into how NFC and wireless charging work, and the applications it can be used for.  You will make a wireless NFC-powered flashing LED to take home, and get the chance to try out interactive demos.
 
<H6>INSTRUCTOR PROFILE</H6>
Tanya Fish has been enthusing about science and making in some form or other for most of her life. She's written tutorials, magazine articles, and educational materials. She's talked about making to all sorts of audiences, including the Guild of Makers Launch, Hackaday Unconferences, and at Maker Faires. She runs workshops at festivals, conferences, and universities. She is based in Sheffield, UK and has just ventured into YouTube.
