HAIR TOPPER EDUCATION

The objective of this class is to educate and empower salon professionals so they can provide high-quality toppers to their clients who suffer from hair loss.

Your educator, DOMINIQUE DIBENEDETTO, has made it her mission to provide hair loss solutions to both her clients and other stylists. Her personal experience with hair loss has given her a unique perspective on the topic and sparked her passion for getting these hair loss solutions in the hands of salon professionals so they can better serve the hair loss demographic.

THIS HANDS-ON CLASS WILL COVER:

DESIGN:

• Cutting bangs
• Removing bulk
• Perimeter cutting of the piece
• Face framing layers
• Chasing the part to the client's needs

COLOR:

• Rooting the piece
• Low lighting, adding dimension, and toning
• Formulating
• Products and colors that are safe for these pieces
• Troubleshooting - how to avoid and fix toning mistakes
• Color matching

FITTING AND CARE:

• How to fit the piece to the client
• How to choose the right topper for your client
• How to wash a topper
• Which products can be used on toppers

BUSINESS AND MARKETING:

• How alternative hair will advance your service menu and hit an underserved demographic that will set you apart from others in your area
• The additional revenue opportunities this service provides
• How to price alternative hair
• How to market alternative hair to clients
• How to use social media to showcase this new service

CONTINUED SUPPORT:

• The class will end with a Q&A so all of your questions can be answered
