Hosted by the Indiana STEM Ecosystem & the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, the first annual Hands-On, Minds-On STEM Summit is a single-day experiential convening designed for formal and informal educators working to increase STEM literacy for youth of all ages. Summit participants will explore the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis through the lens of STEM while engaging with experienced practitioners and experts from across STEM fields.


Summit participants will get HANDS-ON & MINDS-ON across the entire STEM Summit by:

  • Learning how to leverage the latest neuroscience to turn their vision into a reality during the interactive keynote
  • Engaging in interactive sessions demonstrating research-based instructional strategies for the Indiana STEM and Science standards
  • Expanding their awareness of STEM careers & technology through engagement opportunities with STEM experts
  • Igniting their curiosity while exploring resources in the STEM Playground
  • Interacting with regionally based STEM Ecosystem advisory boards and leads


Join us for this fun-filled day of experiential, real-world learning that will enrich, excite, and engage your love of STEM while sparking new ideas for developing critical thinking & problem-solving skills with the youth you serve.
