This course meets for 1.5 hours three times per class session. Please check the Agenda above for the dates included in each session. Instructor - Agi Sardi
Agi is a Hungarian immigrant who evolved into a computer engineer and dance performer, among other titles. She has led advanced technology initiatives for Raytheon Corporation, contributing to projects such as the Space Station, Theater Battle Management, and Environmental Monitoring systems. Following her corporate experience, she transitioned into academia, teaching at institutions like MIT, Northeastern, and other local colleges.
In mid-life, she developed a deep passion for Capoeira and Afro-Brazilian dance, dedicating 30 years to actively participating in these art forms. Additionally, she has explored the realm of fine arts, participating in several shows. Her current fascination lies in the intersection of art, technology, and science. She is eager to share this enthusiasm with fellow learners and explore the dynamic interplay of these disciplines.
Class Description
Curious about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and what the heck Large Language Models have to do with your existence now and in the future? Dive into this supportive and encouraging course where learning meets creativity. We will kick things off with presentations that demystify the basics of AI followed by the use of practical online tools to discover how AI can be your tool for self-expression
Course participants can try their hand at completing browser-based assignments in areas of interest in their own lives with an opportunity to share their accomplishments in the sessions.
As long as you can perform a Google search, you have the ability
and background to join this course. Students should have access to a computer or iPad and know how to use the device to navigate websites. No further skills are necessary. Participants may spend an hour or more a week following up with suggested exercises.

Students Should Bring
Students should have access to a computer or iPad and know how to navigate websites using the device. No further skills are necessary. Participants may spend an hour or more a week following up on suggested exercises.
Prerequisites
Students must be 15 years old or older. All students under 18 must be accompanied by and under the direct supervision of a responsible adult.

Frequently asked questions
Students may withdraw from a class up to 7 days prior to the start of the class via Eventbrite’s refund feature. In extenuating circumstances, students may contact education@artisansasylum.com to request an exception.
To request a class or ticket transfer, either use the “contact the organizer” feature offered by Eventbrite or email Education@artisansasylum.com with your name, ticket information, and transfer request. Transfer requests are approved on a case-by-case basis.
Artisans Asylum reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes in the event the minimum number of students for the class is not reached, an emergency, such as illness, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Communication for canceled and rescheduled classes is sent via email.
If another class is available at a later date, or if the class has been rescheduled, your class fee will automatically apply to the next class session unless the session is already full or you specifically request a refund. No refunds are given for changes to location or Instructor.
All students under 18 must be accompanied by and under the direct supervision of an adult.
We occasionally capture photos of students during our classes to use in promotional materials, online, and on social media platforms. By enrolling in a class, you are giving us permission to do so.
