Kick-off the 2024 Solar Eclipse at the Hancock Hotel! Enjoy food, drinks and entertainment to commemorate this once in a lifetime event!

<h3><a href="https://www.hancockhotel.com/solar-eclipse-2024/" title="https://www.hancockhotel.com/solar-eclipse-2024/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kick Off the 2024 Solar Eclipse at Hancock Hotel!</a></h3><p>The Hancock Hotel will be in the line of totality for the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, meaning we will be one of the few places in the world where the sun is 100 percent blocked by the moon for a short period of time.</p><p>Kick-off this once in a lifetime event with a welcome party at the Hancock Hotel. In addition to heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, we are also excited to partner with RooBarb Studios, a unique Findlay gift shop, selling locally created eclipse jewelry and other momentos. Back in the ballroom visit the Hancock Park District's mobile planatarium, be entertained by The Magic of Nathaniel (a local magician) and commemorate the experience with a photo in the Floral City Images and Photography photo booth.</p><p>The party is open to both guests of the Hancock Hotel and the general public. We look forward to celebrating the 2024 Solar Eclipse with you!</p>

You can also visit their full shop just two block north at 520 South Main Street, Findlay.</p><h3><br></h3>

<h3><a href="https://www.facebook.com/TheMagicofNathaniel/" title="https://www.facebook.com/TheMagicofNathaniel/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Magic of Nathaniel</a></h3><p>Spend 10 minutes with Nathaniel Hill, the magician, and you will be in awe at his card trick ability. He will amaze you in his ability to create an illusion or slight of hands that will blow your mind. He has been creating magic since he was 4 years old. A hearing impairment left him struggling to communicate, so he turned to magic tricks to get his message to his parents and others. As speech therapy helped him develop communication skills he turned to cars and started doing magic acts for friends and family. He told his teacher in the second grade at St Michael's that while others wanted to be doctors and astronauts he wanted to be a magician. Today he can be found at birthday parties, corporate events, dinner parties and even wedding receptions plying his mystical trade. </p>

The Mirror Me Booth takes photo booth fun to a whole new level. As you walk up to the mirror, colorful animations and a voice guidance invite you to engage in a magical, interactive selfie experience presenting a photo keepsake.</p>

<h3><a href="https://hancockparks.com/" title="https://hancockparks.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Planetarium: Solar Eclipse with the Hancock Park District</a></h3><p>In our indoor planetarium program, we will focus on a solar eclipse: what it is, why it happens, different types, and how often they occur. We will view what will happen during the eclipse and learn about other astronomical objects that may be seen during the eclipse. Participants are required to sit on the floor during the 30 minute presentation.</p>
