An expert on following her calling to create a successful career from scratch in the field of conscious dance,Donna Carrollutilizes her 8+ years of experience to lead people through an innovative approach to create thier own sustainable and successful dance. She is passionate about all dance and has committed her life to teaching leaders how to successfully create thriving dances.Donna is the creator and cofounder ofEcstatic Dance Oakland, the largest weekly conscious dance on the planet, bringing over 300 people together every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening in Oakland, California.Ecstatic Dance Oakland has been dubbed, "a cross between a yoga class, a rave and a church service", has been featured on NPR, in the Huffington Post, the SF Chronicle, Common Ground Magazine, and in a blockbuster movie starring the singer Pink.

Join us as we come together to dance and celebrate both the living and the dead on this night when the veils between worlds are thinnest. 
Come dressed in a representation of your alter ego. Is it friend or foe? Angel or devil? You choose, but choose wisely because you will be dancing together all night long!

<LI>Ecstatic Dance with DJ Ryan Herr begins at 7:30pm and ends at 10:30pm. </LI>
<LI>An extended sound healing takes us on a sacred journey from 10:30-11pm. </LI>
<LI>Socialize and talking (!) from 11pm-midnight. </LI>
<LI>Cost is $20 in advance/ $25 at the door (if available). </LI>

Because we know the best way to have fun together is using dance as our medicine and movement as our communication, the standard Ecstatic Dance guidelines apply:

What would it be like to arrive a little uncomfortable and let the dance do its magic as we transform together, as a community, all on the same wavelength? This is truly new age awakening!</LI>
<LI>Absolutely no talking on the dance floor. What would it be like to challenge ourselves to allow the mysteries of the evening to unfold as we connect through our bodies, not through our words?</LI>
