This half-day event brings middle and high school students of all skill levels together to learn, experiment, and build alongside some of the Bay Area’s brightest innovators, top-tier tech professionals, and special guests from Congress. You’ll showcase your creativity in front of national leaders and industry experts who are eager to see what the next generation can do.
We’ll supply mentors and plenty of inspiration. All you need to bring is your laptop, your curiosity, and your ideas.
What You’ll Do
- Try out real AI tools in live demos: see how innovators in Silicon Valley are using AI to build smarter, faster
- Use AI to kickstart your own app: get hands-on guidance as you apply AI-assisted coding tools to build a working prototype
- Work in small teams to solve real-world problems: brainstorm, design, and start building your app with support from mentors
- Share your work and get expert feedback: present your concept to peers, mentors, and visiting decision-makers from Capitol Hill and Silicon Valley
- Leave with progress and a plan: walk out with a clear concept, progress on your build, and a roadmap to finish by the October 30th App Challenge deadline
You’ll leave not just with a head start on your app — but also with great memories, a group photo, and the chance to say you presented your ideas to leaders in Congress and tech who want to see the future through your eyes.
Bring your laptop. Bring your ambition. We’ll bring the future.
