    4th Annual Duck Race

    $25 per duck for adults

    or flock of 5 for $100

    $10 per duck per child*

    or flock of 12 for $100

    * Child: 14 and under

    CASH PRIZES

    20% of adoption proceeds returned as prize money in adult race.

    10% of adoption proceeds returned as prize money in child's race..

    Prizes for 1st (10%), 2nd (5%) , 3rd (3%), and Last Place (2%).

    Entries can be purchased on Eventbrite or directly for Hagerman Bike and Walk to save on transaction fees.

    Race day registration opens at 10:30am and closes at 10:45 am. Ducks in the water at 11:00am. Child's race first, followed by Adult's race.

    Do not have to be present to participate or win.

    Proceeds from previous races allowed Hagerman Bike and Walk to complete preventative maintenance seal coating, re-striping of the existing pathway, and installation of drinking fountain and power station at the Billingsley Creek State Park HVP Rest Area. This years funds will be used for matching funds towards future grant opportunity to extend pathway.

    What is your refund policy?

    We don't anticipate issuing refunds.

    Are children allowed at event?

    Yes, children are allowed at the event, but they need adult supervision since we are near a waterway.

    Will food be available.

    Yes, we will be selling hotdogs, chips, and soda at the event after the child's race.

    Do I have to be present to win?

    No, we would love to have you there, but we understand that not all can attend. You will be notified if your duck places.

    Can I bring my own duck?

    No, ducks need to be issued by Hagerman Bike and Walk so that everyone is racing the same type of duck.

    Can I bring my own food?

    You could, but this is a fundraiser, and we would appreciate your additional support by purchasing a hotdog, chips, and drink at the event.

    Can I decorate my duck?

    You sure can, just be sure to pick up prior to race day, but we will have some markers available on the day of the race.
