Hacktivity: Everyone tells you to be innovative or "think outside the box". But what does that mean? This hands-on, fun, fast and action-packed workshop will help participants get their creative juices flowing in a low-risk, safe setting. Even though we will be having fun, the tools learned in this workshop offer some tips for developing a more creative idea and help you push your ideas to a new level. Whether you are inventing the next SnapChat, developing a tool that will help make the world a better place, or writing a great story, you need to understand how to unlock your creativity.
We've developed these workshop activities over several years at the DALI Lab at Dartmouth College, and in workshops I've given in Thailand, Kenya, Hong Kong, Indonesia and across the US.
No programming experience is necessary.
Space is limited. Participants will be registered on a first-come first-served basis. Once the event is full, a waitlist will be started in the event that space becomes available.
