Hacktoberfest Day DC is all about connecting D.C. tech community members with local organizations' open source initiatives to contribute pull requests. Join folks from Women Who Code, DCJS, Black CodeCollective and more as we hack on open source projects. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
We welcome participants of all ages. Please do bring your ID for the event.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Optoro is metro accessible via Metro Center and has an underground connection to the station. Street parking and garages are also nearby.
How skilled do I have to be to participate in Hacktoberfest? 
We welcome developers of all backgrounds, and experience levels to participate in Hacktoberfest. 
What will I need in order to participate in the event?
For the day of the event please bring the following:
