The Inclusive Innovation Incubator (In3) is located in the Tech Corridor of Washington, D.C at 2301 Georgia Avenue. The 8,000 square facility is the District of Columbia’s first community space focused on inclusion, innovation and incubation. The incubator is committed to creating a collaborative environment where under-resourced members have access to the space and services needed to build or grow a successful business.In3 will improve the business landscape in the District by providing members with the right tools and access to financial, technical and professional resources.In3DC is a project of Clearly Innovative Inc.www.clearlyinnovative.com

Inclusive Innovation Incubator (In3)

Following President Trump's <A HREF="https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/27/us/politics/refugee-muslim-executive-order-trump.html" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">executive order </A>regarding immigration, the country and the courts issued a resounding rebuke. Thanks to the actions of<A HREF="https://www.pri.org/stories/2017-01-30/volunteer-lawyers-come-forward-assist-travelers-detained-under-trump-travel-ban" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> hard working organizations and lawyers</A>, many of those detained have been released. However, the work continues and more executive actions on immigration are imminent.
Hack the Ban is a hackathon that brings together multidisciplinary creatives (technologists, designers, journalists, etc) and organizations working at the forefront of immigration issues with vulnerable communities. The intention is to help these organizations serve their communities effectively by providing digital media tools and solutions.
Our goals are straightforward:

<LI CLASS="x_MsoNormal">Create concrete solutions that can be used RIGHT. NOW.</LI>
<LI CLASS="x_MsoNormal">Foster a technical support community for the resistance</LI>
<LI CLASS="x_MsoNormal">Reinforce to all members of the community that they belong here</LI>

There is an enormous amount of work to do to share information with those targeted by anti-immigrant policies and enforcement. Join us!
