HackOHI/O 2016 Showcase

The OHI/OProgram was created in 2013 with the goal of fostering a tech culture at Ohio State and its surrounding communities. The program has created Ohio State's first hackathon, as well as spin-off events including the hardware-focused Makeathon, ultimately providing students the opportunity to learn and build with real technologies outside of the classroom. OHI/O is a student driven, self sustaining platform that now runs Ohio's largest Hackathon as one part of the OSU College of Engineering's Informal Learning Program, bringing together over 1,000 students throughout the year.

After 24 hours of learning and building, attendees of HackOHI/O 2016 will present live demos of what they've created during the weekend. Free and open to the public. OHI/O and "HackOHI/O" serves to foster a tech culture amongst students at Ohio State and cultivate technical talent in Columbus and the Ohio region.
