Hacking product management with machine learning

Join us for the first machine learning meets product management hackathon in Prague, organized by productboard in partnership with Rossum! 
We’re excited to announce our guest speakers Martin Vejmelka and Tomáš Tunys!
productboard will provide food, fun, prize for a winner, and most importantly datasets on top of which we’ll hack.
Every company building digital or physical products today has some sort of a product management process in place, aiming to build the right products and deliver them as fast as possible to their customers. In today’s flat world competitors can come from anywhere, technical advancements are done on a daily basis and your customers give you continuous feedback and want to be heard instantly. It is more important than ever to be able to stay on top of change continuously.
Machine learning is becoming mainstream in many industries, augmenting information workers in decisions, increasing process automation or providing predictions based on millions of data points, continuously improving by incorporating humans in the loop.
Product management domain is a natural candidate where many activities done by makers are lending themselves to be augmented machine learning, specifically by natural language processing. Topics include customer feedback processing like de-duplication and similarity finding, its processing and classification, or discovery of new insights that were previously not known to the product team. Imagine your team could stay on top of competitors constantly, by having automated updates and alerts when updates happen. Other areas include analysis of product usage data: determination of activation vs. subscription event clusters, possible churn of customers, or other behavioral patterns. Hacking Topic:

Prizes:
For this event we'll be hacking for a prize! On the Friday evening, you will be able to mingle with other data enthusiasts to determine your team! There are no limits to amount of members in your team- you can be a mighty team of 1 or a strong team of 10! Up to you!  On the Saturday afternoon you will have the opportunity to come back and hack in the Hub Hub space, with food and mentors available throughout the day before you present your project to the jury! More details on the jury and rules are on its way!
The winning team will be awarded monetary support to an open source project of your choice!
1st Place: productboard will support the open source project (based on your choice) worth $200. 2nd Place: productboard will support the open source project (based on your choice) worth $100. 3rd Place: productboard will support the open source project (based on your choice) worth $50.
