This is a group for anyone interested in AI, Superintelligence, Paths to AGI, etc. All backgrounds are welcomed! I started this group in order to meet AI enthusiasts, interested in the topic. Looking forward to chatting with you guys.

<H4><STRONG>Steve Jurvetson </STRONG></H4>
<P><SPAN STYLE="font-size: small;">Sarah joined Greylock in 2013. Prior to Greylock, Sarah was at Goldman Sachs, where she invested in Dropbox and helped take Workday public. She advised pre-IPO private technology companies (as well as public clients including Zynga, Netflix, and Nvidia) on strategic and financial issues.</SPAN></P>

<H4><STRONG>Steven Sinofsky, Andreessen Horowitz</STRONG></H4>
<P STYLE="margin-top: 12px;"><SPAN STYLE="font-size: small;">A respected technologist and business leader, Steven Sinofsky is currently an investor, board member, and advisor to early stage companies (Product Hunt, Tanium, Everlaw, Box). He began his career at Microsoft in 1989. He started as a software design engineer in development tools. Working in product management, he grew to be one of the company's senior executives on Microsoft Office overseeing six major releases of the full range of Office apps and creation of Office servers. Most recently he served as President of the Windows division through 2012. In this role, he oversaw many of Microsoft's largest products, including the development of the Windows operating system, as well as Windows Services such as Outlook.com (http://outlook.com/), OneDrive and Identity. <P STYLE="margin-top: 12px;"><SPAN STYLE="font-size: small;">As Chief Scientist at PokitDok, Bryan Smith applies his expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning and interactive data visualization methods to lead Data Product development efforts mining healthcare data for insights on financial trends and behavioral patterns. He came to PokitDok from Sapient, where he led the Global Data Science Practice. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Quid. Bryan holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Caltech.</SPAN></P>

He brings with him two decades of experience in the software industry. As a hands-on data scientist, he has experience building predictive models for business applications such as customer retention and demand forecasting. Leo engages with DL developers, researchers, and startups as the content curator of the Deep Learning Institute. The DLI team works closely with NVIDIA Corporate Marketing, including social media marketing, industry business development teams, and NVIDIA engineering teams to create and deploy messaging, assets, tools and experiences,for DL Developers in various communities. They are the voice of Deep Learning Developers within NVIDIA providing detailed community feedback and research.</SPAN></SPAN></P>

<H4>Innovation</H4>
<P>One of the goals for this hackathon is to learn and showca<SPAN STYLE="font-size: small;">se the advanc</SPAN>ements of AI/ML/DL technologies. So all the projects have to use some sort of ML frameworks/libraries applied to new use cases. No one wants to see another tinder-like app.</P>

<P>All teams retain full ownership of what they have created during the hackathon.</P>

<P>We are having max. of 20 teams total. Teams of up to 5 people are allowed.</P>

<P>A fresh code is required for Recurrent Neural Hackathon. Of course, using 3rd party services, APIs, open source projects, libraries, and frameworks is totally allowed.</P>

<P>We are having 2 rounds of pitch sessions:</P>
<P>1) Qualification sessions: We will compose small batches of 4-5 teams to choose the semi-finalist to present of the Finals </P>
<P>2) Finals: Teams that have passed qualification sessions will present their project in the final session.</P>
<P>No pitch deck is required. Showcase what you have done, and tell us the story</P>
