  • 8 days 9 hours

Join T-REX, along with leading animal welfare organizations, for a hackathon to promte animal welfare and potentially impact the lives of thousands of dogs, cats, and other animals! Using data sets, and other assets, you will be tasked to develop tools that could help combat the mistreatment of animals, such as puppy mills in the state of Missouri.

About Animal Welfare in Missouri

Puppy mills and animal welfare are a major issue in Missouri. The Humane Society of the United States has called out the state for 12 years in a row as the worst in the country for this issue (click here for report). HB2265 and HB1826 (click here for bill details) are currently in the Missouri Legislature and have been called out by organizations in the state as doing little to actually adress the issue.
