Get ready to form new interdisciplinary teams and build AI projects across many applications at this hackathon!
This workshop will bring together teams of researchers from across the University to formulate and implement solutions to research problems using data science and AI. We're looking for participants with skills in AI, those that want to learn more about data science and AI, and those that have problems they think would be suited to computational solutions.
Attendees will be encouraged to refine their own project ideas when forming teams, but potential ideas could include:
- Piloting large langauge models as annotation assistants.
- Novel vision models for artefact classification.
- Human-in-the-loop detection of rhetoric in political speech.
This event is open to all early-career researchers at the University of Exeter. For questions about this event, please contact idsai-ecrn-committee@exeter.ac.uk.
This activity is part of an ECRN Enhancement Award that has been funded by the University of Exeter Researcher Development and Research Culture team.
