Fall session starts week of September 7, 2020.</h3>Classes have switched to a Live class on Thursdays at 8pm EDT, and will be recorded and released for those who cannot attend. This course will help bridge the gap between understanding microcontrollers and how to operate Linux for embedded purposes. Students will learn about flashing and installing the Linux OS, how to configure the Raspberry Pi, basic commands, how to make scripts and programs, and how to interface with internet-connected electronics.Schedule: The course will consist of four sessions total. Each section will contain a recorded live class component and a live office hour component where the instructors will be available for questions. Prerequisites: The basic knowledge of what the following are, a GPIO, Linux, a Single Board Computer, and a Raspberry Pi. We will learn more about these items in this course.
