Hack4Sac Closing Event

Sacramento CountyDepartment of Technology is partnering withCode for Sacramento,  a Code for America Brigade, to bring you this event.Code for Sacramento is a civic organization of local developers, designers and data geeks who volunteer to help the Capital Region’s public agencies and social enterprises adopt open web technologies. We pull together Sacramento's best resources to amplify our collective civic impact.

Sacramento County & Code for Sacramento

For six weeks, members of the community teamed-up to developed technology solutions for challenges faced by Sacramento County residents. Now, it's time to see the results!
Join Sacramento County and Code4Sacramento for the Hack4Sac Closing Event where we'll see presentations from the challenge teams, eat pizza, and award $10K in prizes to the top three solutions.
We welcome everyone to this community event which will feature presentations on apps developed for the citizens of Sacramento County. Here’s a sneak peek at the submitted solutions:

Winners will be picked by a panel of judges and the audience -- bring your laptop or mobile device to participate in live voting!

<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Entrance is located on G Street (across from the Sheriff building) at the intersection with 7th Street. </LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">The garage gate opens around 5:45 pm. If the gate is open, then you may park here without paying. </LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">If you park here before the gate opens, you are responsible to pay for the time up to the gate opening. A payment envelope will be placed on your windshield.</LI>

Street parking – <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.cityofsacramento.org/Public-Works/Parking-Services/Meters" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">metered parking</A> is available in the general vicinity. Most meters require payment up to 6:00 pm.
