Mazumdar Shaw Medical Foundation:A healthcare venture lab, is the culmination of efforts by Narayana Health & The Mazumdar Shaw Medical Foundation. It is an enclave where medical innovators can tinker around with and convert their ideas to marketable products. We provide our incubatees with avant-garde development based on our core values. We are a DST (Department of Science & Technology) recognized TBI, funded and supported by the Government of India. We have 22,500 sq ft of incubator space, with multiple fully functional wet labs. We have Translational Research programs on Anti-Cancer Technology, Head & Neck Oncology, Neuro-Oncology & Tumor Immunology.Garage5Bis the early stage, healthcare focused investment fund of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, one of the leading generic pharmaceutical companies with strong presence in India, North America, Russia, Latin America and Europe. We invest in early stage startup opportunities that have the potential to reimagine the future of Healthcare, towards better health outcomes for all. What is “Hack the Paper" ?
Hack the Paper is a movement to change the conversation around science.
It is an attempt to liberate ideas from scientific journals, papers from conferences and research from labs - and remix it in a digestible format so the rest of us can understand and engage
Who is this for? Scientists & The Curious
Scientists present their work in a series of events, in monthly unconference settings. This is open to students, scientists, academics, professors, anyone with an interest in applied academics.
Winner
Peer reviewed winner will be awarded a handsome prize money for their fine contribution to science.
We have carefully shortlisted researchers for the inaugural session of ‘Hack the Paper’. Any creative minds from academia, healthcare industry, Artificial Intelligence, Startup Eco System & Bio Technology are welcome to Join us.

(M2T is an open source medical data platform that bridges the gap between unstructured data sets, and artificial intelligence algorithms.)
1500-1530: - Garage 5B announces and awards winner of Hack the Paper
1530-1600 Coffee & Networking
Coffee and Snacks will be provided at our venue. You can have lunch from any of three canteens in our campus.

What help will I get? You will have access to a mentors from Garage5B and MSMF if you require help with storytelling or to have a sounding board for your ideas. How can I register for this event? There is no entry fee for this event. You can register for this on eventbrite Can a non-scientist attend the event? Absolutely. Why are we doing this? Progress comes from scientific exploration, and thus it is in everyone’s interest that advancement goes far beyond the current scientific community. We are interested in solving the ‘science storytelling’ problem and making the field more open and accessible to all. Why should you be a part of this? If you believe in the power of citizen science, applied research, problem-solving with a purpose and/or open source, this is for you. You will be joining a larger scientific community, dedicated to medical and scientific advancement.
