Calling all gender diverse individuals! Do you have an interest in innovation? Are you interested in or part of the tech industry? Looking to spend a weekend learning, connecting and building? Then this event is for you!We're excited to host our 2024 hackathon for women and non-binary individuals on April 27, and Demo Day on the April 28 at Osborn370!Join us in downtown St Paul at the Osborn370 building on April 27th and demo day on April 28th for a weekend of hacking fun! This is a great opportunity to network with other techies, potential employers and show off your skills! Team PrizesFirst place: $1,500Second place: $1,000Third place: $500 Agenda: KICK OFF + WORKING SESSION - Saturday, April 27th8:45 am - Doors open. Coffee, pastries and fruits will be available9am - Connect, eat and team formation. Most people will form teams at this time but if you came as a group that’s totally okay too!9:45am - Begin working on projects!12pm - Lunch is provided5pm - Light dinner is provided.6pm - End of day! WORKING SESSION + DEMO DAY - Sunday, April 28th8:45 am - Doors open. Coffee, pastries and fruits will be available9am - Finish working on your projects!12pm - Lunch/Get ready for demos!1pm - Demos start2:30pm - Prizes/wrap up A few additional notes:Food: Breakfast, lunch and a light dinner will be provided so all you have to do is focus on your project! Snacks will be provided throughout the event. Transportation:Train: Take the Metro Green line towards St Paul and stop at Centro Station. Osborn 370 is a block form the train stop.Bus: There are numerous bus stops near the building that stop on Wabasha, 6th Street and 5th Street.Driving: There is paid street parking all around the building. Parking at Victory Parking will be validated (limited based on availablity)- Victory Parking Ramp is half a block away and will be validated. Please note that this will be on a first come first serve basis.
