The Durango Chamber of Commerce will host its 3rdAnnual Technology Conference on Wednesday, March 15thImageNet provides information technology solutions that improve our client’s bottom line.Name.com is a Denver-based domain registrar that works tirelessly to bring unicorns, rainbows, and sweet, sweet domain names to the world.

A Hack the Dot is a two-hour hackathon where coding school students, junior developers, experienced developers, marketers, designers and curious web people come together to build ideas around a domain name. Our events are meant to be a quick and fun way to build a humorous (and functional) product quickly while meeting people in your tech/startup community.
There will be pizza. And probably beer. 
What to Bring / How to Prepare: 
• Bring your laptop (fully charged). Bring your charger just in case.

• Setup a <A HREF="http://github.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">github.com</A> account
How does it work?  
Step 1: Attendees are broken up into random teams and assigned spirit animals to guide their efforts.
Step 2: The teams are provided with the same undisclosed domain name by Name.com, arbitrary and often hilarious.  
Step 3: Teams have just two hours to come up with a functioning site inspired by that domain. The team builds the most creative and fun idea for the domain wins.
Participants will be judged on four criteria: (1) functionality, (2) design, (3) humor, and (4) creative domain name interpretation.
