Welcome to the Rightside Hack-the-Dot. 
Join us at 6pm on Wednesday, February 22nd in our office beside the Gaiety Theatre to compete in the hackathon, get a free domain name, eat pizza, drink some beer, and win some pretty sweet prizes too.
So, what makes a hack the dot that bit different from a hackathon? A Hack the Dot is a two-hour hackathon where coding school students, junior developers, experienced developers, marketers, designers and curious web people come together to build ideas around a domain name. Our events are meant to be a quick and fun way to build a humorous (and functional) product quickly while meeting people in your tech/startup community. 
To help you get started, the domain name for this event is: WWW.HACK.LIVE and the theme is 'Finding hidden hacks to make your life easier.'
For example, in a recent hack the dot, the winning team interpreted www.fogsurfing.ninja, as a browser extension for employees that fogs out certain tabs when they've spent too long on them in order to increase productivity.
Don't worry we don't expect a fully functioning project in two hours. Participants will be judged on four criteria: (1) functionality, (2) design, (3) humor, and (4) creative domain name interpretation.

Ideas on paper are fine. 
There is to be a maximum number of 5 people per team.
We have €300 in prizes and a free domain name for all participants.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
18 or older I'm afraid as there is alcohol available 
 
What can I bring into the event?
You can bring a laptop or anything you think will help your project.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
It's fine if you can't make it but you're friend can
