The Teen Commission consists of a group of nine Cupertino residents who are currently in 8th-12th grades and are selected by the Cupertino City Council. The powers and functions of the Teen Commission are to advise the City Council and City staff on issues or projects important to local youth.

Cupertino Recreation & Cupertino Teen Commission

Overview:
Cupertino's Teen Commission together with the Cupertino Recreation Department is hosting Cupertino, a 13-hour overnight hackathon designed to sovle a problem presented during our Opening Ceremony. What makes our hackathon unique is that the winning team has the potential for their idea to be developed together with members of the City of Cupertino and be implemented as an official City application. 
Please note that this even this is a lock-in, if you leave the premises at any point in the evening you will not be allowed back in.

Registration Check-In: 5:30pm
Opening Ceremony Begins: 6pm
Hacking Begins: 7pm
