hack Cupertino 2020 - Virtual Hackathon

The Teen Commission consists of a group of nine Cupertino residents who are currently in 8th-12th grades and are selected by the Cupertino City Council. The powers and functions of the Teen Commission are to advise the City Council and City staff on issues or projects important to local youth.

The official hackathon offered by the Cupertino Teen Commission and the Cupertino Parks and Recreation Department.

<p>We are back and we are bringing  Cupertino to YOU! Over the course of one week you and/or your team will be working on creating an app, software, or website which will address the theme presented at our Opening Ceremony which will be held via Zoom. </p><h3>What is the Date/Time Location?</h3><p>Location: Online</p><p> When:July 18th, 2020 Time: 5pm - July 25th, 2020 at 11:59pm. You will have one week to work on your project so make that week count! </p><p></p><h3>Quick Overview:</h3><ul><li>Opening Ceremony Begins via Zoom: 6pm</li><li>Hacking Begins: As soon as the webinar is over</li><li>Judging Occurs: July 26th - August 31st</li><li>Results released: Saturday, August 1st at 4pm via Zoom Webinar</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Who can participate?</h3><ul><li>13-18* years old. 18-year-old guests must be in high school. </li><li>We won't be able to verify if registrants are in high school at the time of submission, but we will be looking at your video submissions, project details, and will be requiring school IDs during t-shirt and prize pick-up. </li></ul><p> </p><h3>How many people can be in my team? Can I work on my own?</h3><ul><li>You are welcome to work by yourself, but if you choose to be a part of team, please note that teams must be a maximum of 4 people which you must specify on the <a href="https://hackcupertino2020.devpost.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Devpost</a>. </li></ul><h3> Do you have a Devpost?</h3><ul><li>Yes!
