Join the Fresh Produce Association of the Americas for HACCP Training by Provision

Dive into the world of smart food safety with Provision's HACCP Training session in Nogales! This interactive, in-person workshop will be held over two days at the FPAA Office. Expert third-party trainers will deliver a course specific to fresh produce food safety, with curriculum approved by the International HACCP Alliance.

As a result of this HACCP training, participants will be able to develop and maintain a HACCP plan for the fresh produce sector, identify hazards, perform food safety risk assessments, support a food safety culture, and qualify to work as SQF practitioners. Key agenda items include:

  • Introduction to Codex and NACMCF HACCP
  • Prerequisite Programs
  • 5 Preliminary Steps in Developing a HACCP System
  • 7 Codex Principles
  • Connected Supply Chain Workshop: Achieving Grower-Packer Visibility

A multiple choice exam will be provided to obtain a HACCP certificate. The exam will be run open-book, with one retake allowed. Participants will receive their electronic certificates by email, and their print certificates (with gold seals) by mail.

  • Master of Food Science
  • Bachelor of Biological Engineering
  • 7+ years of hands-on food safety and quality management experience
  • Lead HACCP instructor (International HACCP Alliance)
